Wilde Supports the Most Successful Brat Fest Yet!
We take community support very seriously at Wilde East Towne Honda.
We are delighted to support Brat Fest each year, and even more excited to hear about the success of the event once the fun has passed.
This year, our efforts to support the community through Brat Fest achieved the most success in its history. By the numbers, the 2017 edition of Brat Fest was by far and large the most successful one yet.
By the Numbers:
Brat Fest saw a record attendance this year, with more than 188,000 people coming out. With that number in attendance, it’s no wonder the event raised a grand total of over $157,000. Those funds will be donated to over 130 charities in the Madison area. More than 2,000 volunteers helped out as well.
Since 1983, Brat Fest has now accumulated roughly $1.8 million for local charities.
As for the fun part, 160,988 brats were consumed at the festival, along with about 32,000 ears of corn!
Different This Year:
Brat Fest never fails to bring in some surprises to shake up the event from year to year. This time around, Take Your Brat to Work Day incorporated EatStreet to offer brat delivery for orders of 60 brats or more.
At the event itself, in addition to the usual carnival rides and exciting shows, Brat Fest featured a revamped Sports Zone with a Laser Tag arena and Human Foosball courts!
See what else we’re doing in the community!
