Thank You to Our Honda Week of Service Volunteers!

It’s time to say thank you to our Week of Service volunteers. Through their efforts, Wilde East Towne Honda was able to support three inspiring community causes.

As part of Team Honda’s Week of Service, dealerships around the country sent their employees into the community to give back. Coinciding with Honda’s Founder’s Day on June 11, the Week of Service took place from the 9th through the 18th.

Recap of our Efforts

On June 14, our employees helped with the cleanup and maintenance of Sun Prairie Dream Park, a park built by volunteers and receives no government funding. We helped with the regular cleanup and maintenance of the park, and also worked to plant five trees.

Two days later, on June 16, we served meals to those in need, at the River Food Pantry. The Pantry’s primary mission is “to bring a message of mercy and hope to those in need,” a mission we were pleased to support.

On Saturday, the 17th, we participated in the StrawberryFest Run/Walk event. All proceeds help in providing programs and services for adults over the age of 55.

Our Commitment to the Community

We are pleased that Honda took the time and effort to organize a national movement for dealerships to give back. For us at Wilde East Towne Honda, this Week of Service is just one part of a much larger strive to consistently give back to the community we serve.
