2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Makes Cars.com “Car Seat Check Honor Roll”

Required by law, car seats protect and keep children safe while riding in a car. Unfortunately, only a small percent of car seats are properly installed. There may be too much or too little of an incline in the seat of the car, no room at all for a car seat, simple human error and many other factors that could cause a car seat to be installed improperly.

One thing car manufacturers can do is design their car to fit most car seats. Recently, cars.com tested 65 model-year 2017 and 2018 vehicles between September 2016 and August 2017 for their ability to properly accommodate car seats. Only 10 of the 65 models made cars.com Car Seat Check Honor Roll with straight A’s. The Honor Roll cars are recognized as cars with ample room for a least two car seats and have LATCH anchors that make car-seat installation easier.

Straight A’s

We are proud that the 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid passed the test with flying colors! It received A’s under the Latch, Infant, Rear-facing convertible, Forward-facing convertible, and Booster seat types.
